For a long time, Lionel has brought back a folding knife from each region he visits, a testament to the craftsmanship and identity of the territories he travels through. A stark reality became apparent in his own region: there is no iconic knife capable of proudly bearing the colors of the "Petite Mer". It was from this idea that the Sinagot was born.
To bring this ambition to life, no compromises were made on quality: while the soul of the knife is Breton, the manufacturing of the blade is entrusted to the expert hands of the master knife makers of Thiers.
More than just a knife, Lionel wanted to create a living link with our maritime history. For its Signature version, the wood used comes directly from the restoration shipyards of the traditional boats that bear its name. By holding this knife, you are holding a piece of maritime history.
Because he believes in passing on knowledge, a portion of the sales will eventually be donated to associations working to keep the last Sinagots afloat.
Choosing the Sinagot is thus a way to actively participate in safeguarding our Breton heritage.
